UV-6502CL

UV cure cationic epoxy, high clarity

Low-viscosity, water-clear UV epoxy that stays clear at temperature

UV-6502CL is a low-viscosity, high-clarity light cure epoxy adhesive that cures to a clear polymer and maintains optical clarity at elevated temperatures. It wets metals, ceramics, and glass and cures best with UVA wavelengths from 315 to 365 nm.

In plain English

UV-6502CL is a water-clear, low-viscosity epoxy for tight gaps and bonds where optical clarity matters.

Why buyers choose this grade

Made to stay clear

This high-clarity, water-clear epoxy is built to hold optical clarity at elevated temperature.

Very easy wetting

At 200 to 500 cps, it is one of the lowest-viscosity grades in the lineup and can reach fine bondlines quickly.

Still behaves like an epoxy

Even with its optical focus, it keeps a rigid cure profile and a -55°C to 200°C operating range.

Good fit for

  • Optical bonds where haze, yellowing, or loss of clarity would hurt the design
  • Glass, ceramic, and metal assemblies with tight gaps that benefit from capillary flow
  • Clear encapsulation or seal areas that still need good temperature performance

Things to confirm first

  • Low viscosity is great for tight gaps, but it can run if the bondline is open or vertical.
  • This grade is best with direct UVA access at 315 to 365 nm, so confirm the lamp and part geometry early.
