UV-8300LV

UV cure cationic epoxy, low viscosity

Low-viscosity UV epoxy with broad substrate adhesion

UV-8300LV is a low viscosity light cure epoxy that bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, and many plastics. Good surface wetting and adhesion. Cures under UV (315 to 365 nm) and 405 nm blue light.

In plain English

UV-8300LV is the general-purpose cationic epoxy grade for wetting, broad substrate coverage, and high service temperatures.

Product fit

Why buyers choose this grade

Broad substrate reach

It adheres to metals, glass, ceramics, and many plastics, which makes it a useful first-screen material.

Works with common LED setups

It cures under 365 to 405 nm sources, so it fits many installed UV and blue-light systems.

High heat tolerance

The product table lists service temperature up to 250°C, which keeps it in the conversation for hotter assemblies.

Good fit for

  • General electronic and industrial bonding across metal, glass, ceramic, and many plastics
  • Assemblies that need good wetting without dropping all the way to ultra-low viscosity
  • Programs that need a general-purpose first-screen material before moving to more specialized grades

Things to confirm first

  • Because it flows and wets well, confirm your bondline geometry before assuming it will stay in a tall bead.
  • If you need a built-in shadow cure path, move to the UV-plus-heat grade instead.
